Movies and Mudpools!

Well anyone that knows me well knows I am a HUGE Sex and the City Fan and I am so excited, I may have just been a little bit sick in my mouth. Here is the first trailer for the upcoming, much-anticipated, ohmygodit'sfinallyhere Sex And The City movie.

In the opening voiceover, Carrie declares, "They say nothing lasts forever", but my love for these four fabulous friends and their adventures is as strong as ever. When Carrie breathes "Hello lover" I just know she is speaking just to me, and by the end of the swirling montage of shots of the girls in gorgeous outfits (including someone in a wedding dress) and a big romantic kiss, I am now wondering just how the hell I am gonna wait until next year to see it. I wanna see it now now now, Goddammit!

Anyway once the excitement of seeing that wore down I realised I have not written in here forever! Will not bore you with the million and ten things we have been up to, suffice to say that slowing down is really just not in my vocabulary! One neat thing though is that this Friday I am off on a "famil" to Roto-vegas (or Rotorua for those non Kiwis out there). Now a traditional "famil" is one where a hotel hosts a whole bunch of travel people, bookers etc at their property (in this case The Duxton Hotel, Okawa Bay) in the hope that they will love it so much they will book all their people to go. On this particular famil though there is only going to be myself and 5 other Exec Assistants going - not 100% why, all a bit of a treat really and we have been promised a "day and night of sheer pampering that we will not forget for many years to come" (their words not mine) so not really sure what to expect, suffice to say Friday afternoon I am OUTTA HERE and not back till Saturday evening - wish me luck.

Also then on Sunday (ai carumba!) we have Ian's work do at the Langham - as a result of the weekend ahead (and the fact that Xmas is less than a fornight away EEK!) I am taking Monday off work to rest, recupperate and wrap presents, put up decorations, address Xmas cards etc etc etc - ah a woman's work is never done! TTFN
