Merry Xmas to all, and to all a Good Night
Well Xmas is over and done with for another year. Actually managed to get everything done, we had a bit of a disaster with the oven that decided it didn't actually want to cook for us yesterday and ended up eating our main course at about 10pm last night.
But lots of fun in the morning with our dear friends Julie and John, drinking way to much bubbles and hanging with the kids and a lovely mid Xmas lunch, then off home.
Mum and Dad came around about 6pm and we opened all our wonderful pressies (as usual I went totally over the top with gift giving) and ate a beautiful king prawn cocktail, played a couple of games of Buzz Hollywood (which I won both of) and then the aforementioned Xmas dinner - roast pork, with all the trimmings, and then for desert meringues, blueberries, custard and whipped cream. Yum Yum. Feeling very tired today (Boxing Day here in NZ) so just having a quiet day, watching videos, playing my new PS2 games (Spyro and Thrillville) and just generally "chilling".
I hope everyone had a magical Xmas and I am now on holiday until the 7th of January - woop woop! Lots of time for relaxing, reflecting, getting together with friends, starting work on The Laramie Project and starting that diet that we all promise ourselves but never really get around to.
Blessings to all. Merry Merry Xmas and a VERY Happy New Year.
