MY HEAD HURTS - BUT NOT FOR THE NORMAL REASON
Okay so we had the AMI SHOWDOWN Awards last night - and OMG MY HEAD HURTS TODAY.... nope nothing to do with the normal one too many Sauvignon Blancs - it is the result of sitting in a theatre with 350 odd (LOL) children screaming and shrieking every time their school was announced for anything - I have NO IDEA how teachers put up with the noise! YIKES. But was an excellent night all in all - and I am sure you will be relieved to know I even managed to find something to wear, so the shrieks were not because the new judge of SHOWDOWN went to the Awards Naked! XXX

OKAY SO MY LIFE NOT THAT BORING!
I think I was just feeling a bit sorry for myself the other day HEE HEE - anyways forgot to say that I have been approached to become a judge for AMI SHOWDOWN Awards for 2009/10 - basically (from what I can gather) it is for productions of plays and musicals at various schools around Auckland. A bunch of talented theatricals (and me!) go around seeing the various shows and they are judged and at the end of the school year there is a big awards night at Sky City.
WELL tonight is the night, and as one of the judges from the last 2 years is unavailable I am going to be there, not just in the audience but also handing out awards... eek! and here is the ultimate girlie statement I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR! I thought I was just going to be in the audience, and not having to get up in front of literally 100's of kids and present!
Will no doubt be running around like a mad thing when I get home tonight scrambling for something/ anything to wear.... wish me luck....

I AM GETTING WORSE
So sorry about the lack of updates, and there is no excuse - it is just sometimes I am not sure my life is that interesting :)
We had the most INCREDIBLE time in Wellington (here are some piccies to prove it) but honestly apart from that just been rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing.
Have had a couple of auditions, but nothing has come from those YET. One was for the new series they are filming here in New Zealand, The Legend of the Seeker, so even though I missed out on my initial audition it does not mean I wont get another chance to read for something else. I actually started reading the series THE WIZARD'S FIRST RULE, by TERRY GOODKIND, as a bit of prep for the audition and I was pleased to note that even though I am NOT normally a fantasy reader this is an excellent series. Can't wait to see what they do with it for TV.
Oh and over the weekend, my darling husband entered a Karaoke Competition at a local pub and did so well he is now through to the finals.... But Honestly that is it - sorry bit boring but with summer coming up am sure will be a LOT more exciting - until then xxx
